Meet Guriqbal.

Eminence Photography is a Jalandhar-based wedding studio led by Guriqbal Singh. Working in the industry since 2014, we have built a reputation for honest, layered photography of Punjabi weddings — traditional, candid and cinematographic, depending on what the moment asks for.

The studio.

Eminence began in 2014 in Jalandhar Cantt, founded by Guriqbal Singh. From the start, the work has revolved around a simple idea — that Punjabi wedding ceremonies are some of the richest and most meaningful occasions a family will ever live through, and they deserve to be photographed by someone who actually understands what's happening, beat by beat.

Twelve years on, the studio works with couples across India and travels for destination weddings on request. We speak English, Hindi and Punjabi, and we are equally comfortable with a quiet roka at home or a six-event wedding spread across three cities.

The way we work.

Three styles, one team. We shoot traditionally for the family portraits and the formal moments that matter most to your parents and grandparents. We shoot candidly through the rest of the day — the small unposed expressions that turn out to be the photographs you actually love. And we film cinematically, so your wedding film feels like a feature, not a montage.

We are happy to travel outstation. Final photographs and films are delivered in high definition within two months. A 50% advance confirms your booking; the balance is due before the first event day.

People sometimes ask why we work out of Jalandhar instead of Delhi or Mumbai. The honest answer is the light. The gold of late afternoon over a Punjabi khet, the brass of the temple bells, the powder-blue of pre-monsoon sky over the gurudwara dome — there is nothing quite like it. We stay because our work needs Punjab's light.

What we offer.

Photography in traditional, candid and cinematographic styles. Wedding films and short reels. Pre-wedding stories — single travel days that we love taking on. Engagement, Roka and Sagai coverage. Family and portrait work, on location or in studio.

Deliverables include high-resolution edited photographs, edited films, printed albums, fine-art coffee table books, large prints, frames, save-the-dates and live-stream services. Everything is produced in-house and delivered within sixty days of the wedding.

What we care about.

We are not the cheapest studio you will find in Punjab, and we will never try to be. We deliberately limit the number of weddings we take on each year so that yours gets our full attention — not a freelance hand-off, not a half-edited delivery nine months later.

What we will do: arrive a day early, meet your family, learn how the day is structured, and stand exactly where we need to be the moment your father can't quite hold it together at the vidaai. The frame deserves to be there.
